Joe took a sabbatical in Munich for the first half of 1973. Here we take the S.S. France back home. It turned out that Dan was an adult to the airlines, and a child to the steamships. We also were bringing a car along. It just made sense to take a luxury liner instead of flying. Erika loved the excuse to indulge.
