Finally, vulcanism. Here is the view forward from the bed of a pick-up truck in which 9 of us squished and jostled to get out to the current lava flow. As you can see, there was a road here once. We hit 4 stretches of pavement, the rest of the time bumping along at about walking speed. The rising steam is visible ahead. The fuzzy yellow at the bottom right is the foam padding in the truck bed.
